Join us on Saturday, October 11, 2025 from 12:00 pm - 7:00 pm for our Community Open House and experience the newly transformed Pittsburgh International Airport before it officially opens to travelers. Explore the modernized landside terminal at your leisure and enjoy activities for all ages. Space is limited, and all guests must RSVP to attend. Complimentary self-parking will be provided.

Please fill out the fields below to RSVP for the Transformed PIT Community Open House on Saturday, October 11, 2025. Once you submit your RSVP, you will receive an email confirmation within 48 hours that contains a unique QR code with additional information and details for the event. Your RSVP is not confirmed unless you receive the confirmation email and unique QR code.

All adults (18+) must register separately and provide a unique email address. Children (under 18) should be registered with an adult when you submit the RSVP. If you use an email address that has already been submitted for an RSVP, you will not be able to submit another with that same email.

In order to maintain the best experience for guests attending the event, we have divided the day into one-hour time slots. If a time slot is sold-out, you will not be able to select it. Questions? Once you submit your RSVP, you should receive an email confirmation within 48 hours. To officially be placed on the guest list for the Community Open House, you must receive an email confirmation. The email confirmation will contain a unique QR code that will be scanned at check-in. If you do not receive the email confirmation within 48 hours, please check your spam folder. The Community Open House is being held in the newly constructed PIT terminal and roadway access is restricted. All vehicles will have to drive the entirety of the current Airport Blvd. loop to access the security checkpoint and gain access to the roadway to the new PIT terminal. If coming from west of the Airport on I-376 East towards Pittsburgh, take Exit 53 toward Pittsburgh International Airport and then keep left. As you cross the bridge and enter the perimeter of the Airport, stay in the left lanes toward Hotel and Rental Car Return.

 

If coming from east of the Airport on I-376 West towards Beaver, take Exit 53 toward Pittsburgh International Airport and get in the left lanes toward Hotel and Rental Car Return.

 

If traveling on I-576 Southern Beltway, take Exit 1B on the right toward I-376 East toward Airport/Pittsburgh and then keep left towards the Airport. As you cross the bridge and enter the perimeter of the Airport, stay in the left lanes toward Hotel and Rental Car Return.

 

Continue toward Hotel and Rental Car Return. Stay in the right lane and do not enter Parking. Take the left exit for Airport Exit and Return to Terminal. Continue toward the Airport Exit, and then make your way to the left lane to Return to Terminal/Fuel. As you approach the Sunoco Gas Station, make sure to merge into the left lane to Return to Terminal/Fuel. Continue past the Sunoco and take the exit on the left to Return to Terminal. Once you have taken this exit to Return to Terminal, continue in the right lane until you see the security checkpoint for Private Event. Be prepared to stop and get in the traffic queue so security can verify Community Open House guests and grant access to the roadway leading to the new PIT Terminal.
The Community Open House event is being held in the newly constructed PIT Terminal and roadway access is restricted. All vehicles will have to pass through a security checkpoint to access the roadway leading to the new PIT Terminal. Please refer to Directions in the FAQs for information on how to access the security checkpoint.

Complimentary self-parking will be provided. Once guests have passed through the security checkpoint, directional signage and parking staff will direct guests to the parking lots and a parking location. Please have any handicapped placard visible in your vehicle upon arrival so that our parking staff can direct accordingly.

Once parked, additional directional signage and event staff will direct guests to the event check-in located inside the Apron Level of the new PIT Terminal. Please have your QR code ready to be scanned by check-in staff.
If you are using a rideshare service or taking public transportation, you will be dropped off at the current landside terminal on the Arrivals Commercial Curb and take a complimentary shuttle service to the new PIT Terminal.

Once you arrive on the Arrivals Commercial Curb of the current terminal, make your way up to the Ticketing Level by using the escalators or elevators. Once on the Ticketing Level, make your way towards the Southwest Airlines ticketing counter. As you near the Southwest Airlines ticketing counter, you will see directional signage for complimentary shuttle service to the Community Open House. Staff will also be present to guide you outside to where the shuttle will pickup guests. Please have your QR code ready to show staff in order to board the shuttle. The shuttle will run continuously throughout the day between the current PIT Terminal and new PIT Terminal. When you are ready to leave the event, you will take the shuttle back to the current terminal and proceed to the Arrivals Commercial Curb to meet your rideshare driver or board public transportation.
Guests must check-in during their selected one-hour time slot. Arriving before or after the selected one-hour time slot may prevent entry based on capacity. Once parked, signage and event staff will help guide guests to check-in on the Apron Level of the new PIT Terminal. All guests must have received an email RSVP confirmation. If you do not receive an email RSVP confirmation, your name will not be on the list and you will not be able to check-in for the event. The email confirmation will contain a unique QR code which will be scanned at check-in. Guests must have this QR code to attend the Community Open House.
